"What Have They Done to Him?"
Good Morning America interviewed John Karr's father and brother this morning. Karr's father claims he has been "convicted by the media". Karr's brother said when he saw Karr he thought "What have they done to him? He looks drugged or something."
Wait a minute. Wait just a minute. Karr admitted to killing Jon Bennet. He convicted himself. The media-in which I rarely find myself defending them-nowdays refers to Karr as "the man who claims he killed JB". They aren't buying the story. No one is. So to claim the media has convicted him couldn't be further from the truth.
Ofcourse "truth" finds no place in this twisted confession. His handwritting doesn't match. His supposed act of drugging JB was not supported by the medical examiners report. His whereabouts at the time of the murder was in Alabama, according to his ex-wife. If he's guilty of anything, it's lying. If he deserves to do time for anything, it's in a mental hospital to come to terms with his exaggeration of reality and his contorted view of children.
"What have they done to him?" his brother asks. I think the question is "What happened to him?" and that can only be answered by John Karr himself.
