If you lived in Detroit very long, you found yourself loading up on the Boblo ferry every summer. It was about an hour trip and it took you over to the amusement park in Canada. The park was closed and so was one of the favorite memories of summer. Here are some (sad) pics of the abandoned boat terminal. It brings back some memories, for sure. When you load the page, click on "places". From there, you'll see several other spots in Detroit now abandoned that you may remember and want to "visit". Definately click on the Boblo Terminal, though.
